About Coach Short

"Shorty" has been a full-time professional lacrosse coach for 30 years.  He has coached women's lacrosse at Ursinus College (DIII), The University At Albany (DI), The Ohio State University (DI), and Rollins College (DII).  He also spent 2 additional years as a boy's high school lacrosse coach, and has coached boys and girls youth and high school players at numerous camps and clinics throughout his career.  He is a 19x Clinician at the US Lacrosse Convention, has produced two best selling Women's Lacrosse DVD's, and has a 73.6 collegiate winning percentage including multiple NCAA Final Four Appearences. 

Coach Short has developed countless All Conference and All Region players, and nearly 100 Collegiate All Americans as well as four All South Region Players of the Year and a National Player of the Year.  He has twice been named Inside Lacrosse Magazine's Coach of the Year, has been the IWLCA South Region Coach of the Year, the Sunshine State Conference Coach of the Year, as well as a multiple time Rollins College Coach of the Year.
